Hi, I’m Karolina.
I’m a family storytelling photographer based in Geneva, documenting real life as it unfolds — at home, outdoors, and everywhere in between.
My work is about presence over perfection, connection over control, and the honest moments in between.
Whether it’s a slow afternoon at home or time spent outdoors, I offer relaxed sessions with light direction, leaving space for families to simply be themselves.
What to expect
Sessions are relaxed and unhurried. I offer light direction when it helps, then step back to let things unfold naturally.
There’s no pressure to perform, smile on cue, or have everything perfectly in place. Children are free to move, explore, and come in and out of the moment as they naturally do. What matters most is not perfect behaviour or perfect photographs, but creating space to genuinely be together.
A shared presence
This way of working is a collaboration.
During our time together, I encourage you to step away from everyday distractions and simply spend time with one another. Sometimes that looks quiet and tender; other times it looks playful, chaotic, or full of movement. All of it belongs.
The more present and open you allow yourselves to be, the more honestly I can tell your story.
Guidance, not posing
I’ll guide you when it helps — suggesting simple movement, prompts, or ways of being together — but I won’t choreograph or overly stage moments.
The most meaningful photographs usually happen once attention shifts away from the camera and back to each other. Being engaged, connected, and present together matters far more than doing anything “right” for the photograph.
Beyond family sessions
Alongside family, maternity, and newborn sessions, I also photograph intimate weddings and meaningful family celebrations such as baptisms, birthdays, and other important gatherings.
My approach remains the same throughout — honest, relaxed, and focused on documenting connection, atmosphere, and the way people naturally come together.
