FAQ

Below is a short list of frequently asked questions that may help clarify how I work.

If you’d like to talk things through, I’m happy to connect.

02

How far in advance should we book?

For weekday sessions, booking around one month in advance is usually sufficient. Weekend availability is more limited and often books two to three months ahead.
For maternity and newborn sessions, it’s best to get in touch early, as timing can be more specific.

04

How long does it take to receive the photos?

Your selection gallery is ready within up to four weeks.

I edit carefully and consistently in Lightroom, without altering features or changing how people look. Temporary details like small scratches or blemishes can be gently retouched if needed.

01

Are we the right fit?

My work is rooted in storytelling and collaboration. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, with gentle guidance rather than posing. If you value presence over perfection and are happy to slow down and be yourselves, this way of working tends to be a good fit.

How many images will we receive?

  • Mini Collection: you choose 15 images

  • Standard Collection: you choose 30 images

  • Premium Collection: you receive the full gallery

06

Do we need to meet before booking?

I’m always happy to connect via a phone or video call before confirming a booking. It’s a chance to ask questions, talk things through, and make sure the approach feels right on both sides.

08

Will you help us choose a location?

Yes. I’ll help you choose a location that suits your family, the season, and how you’d like the session to feel. I work with a range of tried and tested locations in and around Geneva, as well as nearby natural settings.

05

What does the session include?

Each session includes:

  • a welcome email and preparation guidance

  • a short call if helpful, to align and plan

  • location support in and around Geneva

  • the photography session itself

  • a private online gallery for viewing and selecting images

07

What should we wear?

You don’t need to dress a certain way — comfort and authenticity matter most. Clothing does influence how images feel, so I share general guidance in the Preparation Guide and can help with specifics if needed.
Mothers also have access to my client wardrobe, if they’d like to explore that option.

10

Do you travel for sessions?

Travel is included within 25 km of Geneva. For sessions further afield, we can discuss options in advance.

09

What if the weather isn’t ideal?

Cloudy weather often creates beautiful, soft light. If conditions are uncomfortable or unsafe (heavy rain, strong wind), we’ll reschedule to the nearest possible date.
