That’s why I don’t use Photoshop to drastically alter reality. I won’t reshape bodies or smooth away every natural feature because you are perfect just as you are. However, I will happily remove a scratch or a pimple—because if it won’t be there in two weeks, it doesn’t belong in your photos. My goal is to capture the essence of your family in a way that feels true to life, so when you look back at these images years from now, you’ll still see yourself. You’ll still feel that love, that joy, that moment frozen in time.
